Perrotte, derived from the Greek psittakos, connects me to the psittacine lineage. Psittacine refers to anything related to parrots—it comes from the scientific name of the parrot family, Psittacidae. So when you say "psittacine", you're saying it's parrot-like in nature, traits, or classification.

Helping Hands Tempe is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to provide prayer-based intake, vocational restoration, and ceremonial stewardship for individuals and families navigating transitional seasons.
As a federally recognized nonprofit, all donations to Helping Hands Tempe are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

We occasionally receive pantry items — boxed meals, ceremonial snacks, or transitional staples — that exceed our current rhythm. When this happens, we offer quiet redistribution rooted in surplus, not supply.
If you or someone you know walks with temporary need or ceremonial hunger, feel free to inquire gently. Parrot Ministry is not a food program, but a steward of sacred provisions. Each offering is discerned individually, with love.

The organization is affiliated with the Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers, which is a national organization that provides support and resources to law enforcement officers who are Christians. Through their affiliation, Helping Hands Tempe is able to provide spiritual and emotional support to those they serve.
